Brian L. Mealey, DDS, MS

Dr. Brian Mealey is a Clinical Professor and former Graduate Program Director in the Department of Periodontics at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He previously served over 21 years in the U.S. Air Force, where he was the Chair of the Department of Periodontics at Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio and the Program Director of the Air Force Periodontics Residency.  Dr. Mealey is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and a former Director of the Board. He is also a former Trustee of the American Academy of Periodontology.  He has published two textbooks and over 120 articles in the scientific literature.  Dr. Mealey maintains an active clinical practice in periodontics and implant dentistry.
