Dr. Samar Shaikh
Dr. Samar Shaikh is a distinguished diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry. She earned her dental degree from Pune, India and pursued an advanced graduate education in Periodontology and conscious sedation along with a master’s in science degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Shaikh is an assistant professor in the department of Periodontology at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and maintains a part – time private practice position in Nashua, NH.
Her dedication to education was honored with the 2021 American Academy of Periodontology Foundation educator award for excellence in teaching and mentoring in periodontics. Dr. Shaikh’s expertise extends beyond clinics, as she is also a valued contributing author for the textbook “Clinical Cases in Periodontics” and the digital rendition of “Carranza’s Clinical Periodontology”.
